Diaz, Obiena lead Filipinos in celebrating Yulo gold

MANILA, Philippines — The country's first Olympic gold medalist, Hidilyn Diaz, was among the first to congratulate gymnast Carlos Yulo on giving the Philippines its first gold medal in his sport.

Diaz said there were 'different emotions' in Yulo's victory and thanked all the Filipino athletes.
