BALANGA City, Bataan — The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (PDRRMC) on Friday recommended to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial board) to place Bataan under a state of calamity due to the oil spill from three sea vessels.
A fishing ban was also imposed by the Limay municipal government within the 4-kilometer radius from where the motor tanker Terra Nova sank.
