MANILA, Philippines — Incoming active consultant Rajko Toroman admits that his new role with Converge doesn't necessarily guarantee a quick turnaround for the franchise, following the stunning announcement that Aldin Ayo has parted ways with the young ballclub.

The 69-year-old Toroman, best remembered for leading the first Smart-Gilas basketball program from 2009-2011, will be there to provide the vast coaching experience to Franco Atienza, who has been appointed by management as acting head coach heading to the PBA Season 49.
