Marikina 2nd District Rep. Stella Luz Quimbo did not answer when asked by reporters in Tacloban City if she was offered by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to take on the job at the National Economic and Development Authority. Quimbo also said that the House of Representatives' appropriations committee was neck-deep in preparations for the budget hearing, and that her district in Marikina continues to clean up from the damage caused by the strong rains enhanced by Typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon.
