Taduran's return to glory

WORLD Boxing Council (WBC) minimumweight (105 pounds) champion Melvin 'Gringo' Jerusalem is no longer the country's only incumbent world boxing champion.

Libon, Albay native Pedro 'Kid General' Taduran recently rose to the occasion and regained the International Boxing Federation (IBF) minimumweight throne with a stunning ninth round technical knockout victory over previously unbeaten Japanese champion Ginjiro Shigeoka.
