MANILA, Philippines — Marina Tushova made Premier Volleyball League history on Thursday after scoring 45 points to propel Capital1 to a 13-25, 25-21, 18-25, 25-20, 15-13 victory over Choco Mucho in the PVL 2024 Reinforced Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
The Russian spiker erased the previous single-game scoring record of Pocari's Prisilla Rivera who scored 44 points in a game against Choco Mucho in the 2022 Reinforced Conference.
