Carina casualties rise to 39 – OCD

THE casualties from the onslaught of southwest monsoon enhanced by Typhoon Carina have climbed to 39 and nine were injured, the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) reported Wednesday.

The OCD also said six were reported missing in the massive floods that hit Metro Manila, portions of Mindanao, Central Luzon and Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon).
