Paris Olympics opening: Would Christ have been offended?

ONE particular performance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics has enraged Christians across the globe.

In this performance, there was a scene in a tableau that featured a scantily clad man painted in blue singing at the center of the table with drag queens surrounding him. The table setting had a striking resemblance to Leonardo da Vinci's painting of 'The Last Supper,' but instead of Christ, a woman was in the center together with a group of drag queens seated (or standing) across the table.
