SINCE Chinese foreign ministry officials and China's partisans in Manila mechanically use the same tired lines in reaction to every boost and earnest support from other countries for Filipino defiance against China's aggressive actions in our exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in the South China Sea, we can already predict what the Chinese officials will say in warning, and how the drumbeaters will step up their scare story in response to the latest announced military assistance for the Philippines from the US.
