IN an odd twist in efforts to contain the oil spill in Limay, Bataan, the provincial government has called for donations of human hair and stacks of hay to be made into oil booms.

In its oil spill alert, the Bataan local government called on all barber shops and parlors in the province to donate cut hair and coconut husks in a desperate move to create more oil spill booms to help in efforts to contain the oil spill threatening the province's waters.
