Youth assets in times of calamity

WHEN Typhoon Carina hit the Philippines on July 24, hundreds of thousands of Filipinos living in less secure areas were affected greatly.

Many lost their homes, and because most were primarily focused on surviving and awaiting rescue from the floodwaters, they had lost all of their possessions.
