Ombudsman clears mayor of charges

BACOLOD CITY — The Ombudsman has dismissed criminal and administrative cases against Mayor Marvin Malacon of EB Magalona town and other local officials for lack of probable cause and substantial evidence.

The complaints were filed by former vice mayor Robert Acaling in 2017.
