Filipina judoka Watanabe makes another quick Olympic exit in Paris

MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-Japanese judoka Kiyomi Watanabe just couldn't catch a break.

Seeking a better finish after a quick exit at the Tokyo Games three years ago, Watanabe suffered a similar fate in Paris this time as she fell to Chinese Tang Jing via ippon in the women's -63kg round of 32 at the Champ-de-Mars Arena on Tuesday afternoon, July 30 (Manila time).
