Treñas: Iloilo airport needs upgrade

ILOILO CITY — Mayor Jerry Treñas said a larger and improved airport is needed following the announcement that an airline carrier will resume its international flights at the Iloilo International Airport later this year.

The city mayor said the Department of Transportation (DoTr) should expedite the expansion and rehabilitation efforts for the Iloilo Airport to cater to the influx of passengers.
