MANILA, Philippines — Several Filipino athletes commenced their campaigns at the 2024 Paris Olympics, with some progressing to subsequent rounds and others ending the campaign but exerted an excellent show facing tougher tasks.

Carlos Edriel Yulo, Philippines' top gymnast, secured historic final spots in the All-Around, Vault, and Floor Exercise of the Men's Artistic Gymnastics. This is a major improvement from his one and only final ticket attained in Tokyo 2020 in Vault, which he was just an inch closer to the podium spot at fourth place.
