CARCAR CITY — Suspended Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama has decided not to pursue legal action in connection with his removal as national executive president of the League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP), and instead expressed support to the new interim leadership.

The stance marked a shift from his position on July 19, when he challenged the legitimacy of the LCP National Executive Board's (NEB) decision. During a Zoom conference on Saturday, Rama said he now accepts the board's decision and called for a formal transition of responsibilities through a general assembly.
