Bureau of Immigration nabs 2 foreigners in Benguet

TUBA, Benguet — An illegal alien and her supposed protector, also a foreigner, were arrested by agents of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) inside a posh subdivision here on Saturday.

The BI reported that its Intelligence Division chief Fortunato Manahan Jr. said the arrest of two foreigners stemmed from an information from the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) about a Chinese woman who is hiding from authorities following a raid in Philippine offshore gaming operator in Bamban, Tarlac recently.
