THE Department of Science and Technology (DoST) has endorsed Payday Today, an application developed by the Financial Technology (fintech) startup Goodapps that allows employees to access their wages before their official payday.
With the app's Earned Wage Access (EWA) technology, employees "can get their money anytime while their payday is still a few days away," Payday Today project leader Caesar Michelena said.
