THREE weeks ago, at least three long text messages from anonymous senders — each making controversial claims involving the Department of National Defense (DND) — made the rounds on social media.
The first called for Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. to be replaced. The second dealt with a reported "walkout" from a July 4, 2024 command conference presided by Commander in Chief and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. And the third was the alleged mismanagement and favoritism in the positioning and promotion of senior officers in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).
