State of calamity declared in Bulacan, Bataan, Cavite

ENHANCED by southwest monsoon, Typhoon 'Carina' has left more than P871 million in damages to infrastructure, agriculture and livestock in Bulacan, based on the province's initial assessment.

Infrastructure alone incurred an estimated P789 million in damages, while agriculture and fisheries recorded an estimated P81,200,649.69 in losses. Total estimated damages to livestock and poultry amounted to P955,100.
