LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — More villages in Pangasinan province are now under water after moderate to heavy rains from the monsoon enhanced by Typhoon "Carina" fell overnight, causing rivers to overflow and flooding low-lying areas.
A 5 a.m. report of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) on July 26 indicated that the amount of rainfall accumulated from 8 p.m. on July 25 to 8 a.m. on July 26 was 19 millimeters (mm) in this capital town, 57 mm in Burgos town, and 25 mm in Dagupan City.
