ILOILO CITY — The chairman of the city council's transport committee here urged the government to establish a clear and definite plan for the transport sector amid the growing clamor to suspend the controversial Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP).

Councilor Sedfrey Cabaluna welcomed the Senate's push for the program's suspension but emphasized that the decision should be conclusive and final.
