PNP arrests 9 suspects for cybercrime in Cavite

NINE individuals, including a 34-year-old female, were arrested by Cyber Response Unit of the Philippine National Police Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP-ACG) for violation of computer-related fraud under Republic Act 10175, otherwise known as Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012.

The suspects were arrested on July 24 at around 9:00 p.m. during the implementation of a warrant to search, seize, and examine computer data at the office of alias Apol at her office in General Trias City and her residence in Trece Martires City, Cavite.
