Padilla assumes post as PDP-Laban president

Sen. Robinhood Padilla has assumed his post as president of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), the party announced on Wednesday.

Padilla, previously the party's executive vice president and acting president, replaced Palawan 2nd District Rep. Jose Chaves Alvarez, who tendered his resignation.
