Actor Gerald Anderson spotted rescuing child in flooded home, earns praises

MANILA, Philippines — Actor Gerald Anderson earned praises from netizens for helping rescue a family who was stranded in their flooded home in Quezon City during the typhoon-enhanced heavy rains that swamped Metro Manila on Wednesday.

In a viral video posted by user @TmaeOsanomae on X (formerly Twitter), the actor was spotted gently talking to a child before bringing her to safety, saying in Filipino, 'Come with me, hold on to me. I'll take care of you.'
