MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court, in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), announced on Wednesday that courts in several areas were suspended, due to the effects of a southwest monsoon enhanced by Typhoon "Carina."

It started when the High Court suspended work in the National Capital Judicial Region because of the heavy rains.
