Duterte confirms removal of security detail

'Our work is still ongoing so that we can deliver services to our countrymen — especially to remote or underserved communities in our country,' Duterte said in a statement.

Duterte added that she hopes Philippine National Police chief Rommel Marbil would use the policemen from her security detail in fighting criminal activities.
