MAERSK Air Cargo (MAC), the air freight arm of global logistics giant A.P. Moller-Maersk (Maersk), celebrated a milestone with the delivery of its first-ever Boeing 777F freighter. This marks the first Boeing 777 owned by a Danish airline. The official handover took place at Boeing's headquarters in Seattle, USA.
Maersk's air freight customers in China and Europe will experience significant benefits from the addition of the Boeing 777F. The new aircraft will be deployed on Maersk's Europe-China routes, initially operating three flights per week, with the potential to increase to six. The 777F offers increased capacity, shorter transit times, and faster handling at origin and destination airports, ensuring improved overall service quality.
