Barefield, 2 other rookies sign one-year pact with Blackwater

MANILA, Philippines — Blackwater's second overall rookie pick Sedrick Barefield opted to sign a one-year deal with the Bossing instead of the original three-year offer of the franchise on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-2 Barefield, who played previously for the Oklahoma City Blue in the NBA G League, officially signed the rookie pact in the presence of Blackwater team owner Dioceldo Sy at the Ever Bilena head office in Caloocan City.
