A PEACE and Development Center was launched in Baler to serve as a hub to facilitate the planning, coordination, and implementation of peacebuilding programs and projects in the province of Aurora in the coming years, according to Presidential Peace Adviser Carlito Galvez Jr.
Galvez said the Peace and Development Center will be the "main symbol of peace" in Aurora and also a "recognition of the very important role of the province to achieve true and lasting peace for all Filipinos and the country."
