THE Department of Science and Technology-Region 1 (DoST 1) recently launched the road maps for its Smart and Sustainable Communities Program (SSCP), an initiative that marks a pivotal moment for six communities in the region to showcase their commitment to becoming smart, sustainable and technology-driven.
The regional development milestone happened during the 2024 Regional Science, Technology and Innovation Week (RSTW) held at the Plaza Del Norte Hotel and Convention in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
