MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines and China have reached an understanding on the "provisional arrangement" for the rotation and resupply missions to the beached BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin (Second Thomas) Shoal, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.

"This was achieved after a series of consultations following the frank and constructive discussions between the two sides," the DFA said in a statement late Sunday.
