Roads leading to Batasan Complex closed for SONA on July 22

MANILA, Philippines — Alternative routes and a zipper lane for counter-flow traffic have been set up by law enforcement agencies, led by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), in connection with the State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on July 22, 2024.

Quezon City Mayor Maria Josefina 'Joy' Belmonte told The Manila Times that the local government partnered with the Task Force SONA 2024, led by the Philippine National Police, Presidential Security Group and Quezon City Police District, to implement security measures for Monday's event.
