S&P Global Ratings expects Philippines economic growth to pick up from last year but miss official targets up to 2027.

"Consumer demand is more subdued in the Philippines with elevated interest rates and weak consumer confidence," the debt watcher noted in a July 17 report on emerging markets (EMs).
