(UPDATES) COMMISSION on Elections (Comelec) Chairman George Erwin Garcia said neither he nor any member of the en banc would submit a courtesy resignation or leave of absence amid the systematic demolition campaign to destroy the integrity and credibility of the commission and the upcoming 2025 elections.

Garcia said on Wednesday that the Commission would not stoop down to the level of its detractors, who were trying to destroy the institution through 'white papers,' social media and unverified documents for their own personal interest.
