MANILA, Philippines — Strong Group clobbered Malaysia Harimau behind a dizzying fourth quarter offensive to cruise to an 89-54 victory, staying perfect in the 43rd William Jones Cup on Wednesday at the Xinzhuang Gymnasium in New Taipei City.
Incoming PBA rookies RJ Abarrientos and Dave Ildefonso combined for four three-point shots, while Tajuan Agee and Ange Kouame provided the solid inside presence, allowing SGA to outscore the Malaysia club team, 30-6 in the last period en route to the lopsided win in the battle of unbeaten squads.
