AFP: Top NPA leader cornered in Baguio

CAMP VICENTE LUKBAN, Catbalogan City, Samar — The 9th Infantry Division of the Philippine Army based here announced the arrest of two top officers of the New People's Army (NPA) in Eastern Visayas in two separate operations in Barangay Guisad, Baguio City on July 8.

Capt. Jefferson Mariano, chief of the Division Public Affairs Office, identified the two ranking NPA officers as Terrence Eder alias Anjo/Islao, also known as Terencio Eder Jr. Matiga, a resident of Barangay 88, San Jose, Tacloban City.
