Young seafarers make waves with UN recognition

THE Office of the Youth in Maritime (YIMO) has achieved a milestone — becoming the first seafarer-led youth organization recognized by the United Nations Ocean Decade's Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOP) Program.

This development, announced in a recent ECOP Newsletter, marks a significant step for young people in the maritime industry.
