Palaro champion dreams of competing in Paralympics

(UPDATE) CEBU CITY — Despite being born without limbs, 10-year-old Zach Lucas Obsioma from Negros Occidental triumphed in the Palarong Pambansa, securing two gold medals for Western Visayas.

Obsioma, a student at Sped Training Center in Cadiz City, won both the 50-meter freestyle and 50-meter backstroke events for boys in the below-the-knee category, happening at the Cebu City Sports Center.
