Cone relishes Gilas magical run in OQT

(UPDATE) TIM Cone had no doubt that the recent FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament (OQT) will contribute to Gilas Pilipinas' growth as the team looks ahead to the second window of the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers.

With the national team shocking Latvia, ranked sixth in the world in the group stage, 89-80, followed by a narrow defeat to Georgia, 96-94, before closing the tournament with a 71-60 loss to Brazil, Cone is convinced that this Gilas batch proved it can compete against the best of Europe.
