Kanlaon eruption likely – Phivolcs

FOLLOWING an increase in the parameters on Kanlaon Volcano in Negros Island, there is a chance that an eruption might occur, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) warned on Monday.

Phivolcs Director Teresito Bacolcol said that there was a 'pronounced increase' in the inflation or swelling of its edifice for the past month.
