THE Bureau of Customs (BoC) and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) officially launched the ATA Carnet System on Monday, streamlining the temporary import and export of particular items without incurring import duties or taxes.

Among the goods that the system covered are commercial samples, items for display or use at international exhibitions, trade shows, or similar events, and professional equipment.
