Western Visayas successfully defended its Palarong Pambansa secondary girls volleyball title after defeating the National Capital Region, 25-15, 18-25, 27-29, 25-22, 15-12, on July 15 at the University of San Jose - Recoletos Gym here.
Dona Mae De Leon came through for Western Visayas, represented by Bacolod Tay Tung High School anew, as she pumped 15 points on 10 huge blocks and five attacks against NCR, represented by FEU Diliman.
