As the news of the trade between Barangay Ginebra and Terrafirma Dyip was confirmed, fans are once again up in arms. Just when the PBA is about to gain some momentum, a trade is confirmed that confirms all the worst insinuations about the league.

The trade that sent Christian Standhardinger and Stanley Pringle to Terrafirma in return for Isaac Go and Stephen Holt. Standhardinger is 35 years old, and Pringle is 37 years old. Go is 28 years old, and Holt is 32. Clearly, the purpose for Ginebra is to get younger. Let's get that out of the way.
