Quizon favored in PCAP Tournament of Champions

International Master Daniel Quizon will spearhead a strong cast of contenders in the grand finals of the Professional Chess Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Tournament of Champions slated on July 19-21 at the South Wing Atrium of Greenhills Mall in San Juan City.

The 19-year-old Quizon, who captured the crown in the Philippine National Chess Championship in Marikina City last January 7, looms as the player to beat in the round robin tournament, owing to his current achievements.
