NU survives FEU, draws first blood in Shakey's Super League finals

MANILA, Philippines — The formidable National University (NU) Lady Bulldogs barked louder and took down the Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tamaraws, 25-22, 18-25, 25-19, 18-25, 15-13, in the best-of-three Finals of the Shakey's Super League (SSL) National Invitationals on Monday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Player of the game Bella Belen led the Lady Bulldogs with 26 points on 24 attacks and two blocks.
