SOME 45 residents of Barangay Labney in Mayantoc, Tarlac, including members of the Abelling tribe, completed the skills training on nito vine handicraft making organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) through its Negosyo Center.

Nito vine (Lygodium circinatum) is a plant belonging to the fern family growing as a secondary forest cover clinging to trees and rocks. This climbing fern is very common in the Philippines.
