8K wage earners in Lanao del Norte receive cash aid

TUBOD, Lanao del Norte — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) distributed P10,000 in cash assistance to 8,505 minimum wage earners, or those workers who earn P438 per day or less in Lanao del Norte, through the Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP).

The distribution was held at the MCC Stadium in Tubod, Lanao del Norte, on July 5, where beneficiaries received their cash aid from DSWD and sacks of rice and food packs distributed by the provincial government of Lanao del Norte.
