5 former, 2 active CTG members surrender

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO-3) announced on July 10 that five individuals and two active members of the communist terrorist groups (CTGs) voluntarily surrendered to authorities from July 4 to July 10.

A certain "Ka Yan," a member of Regional Sentro De Gravidad, voluntarily surrendered himself on July 5 to joint elements of Mabalacat City Police Station and other concerned units, while "Ka During," former member of "Iskwad Primera Bagong Hukbong Bayan," voluntarily surrendered to elements of Aurora 1st Police Mobile Force Company (PMFC) and concerned units of Aurora, and turned over one caliber 38 revolver with two ammunition and one 40-millimeter (mm) high explosive.
