British Chamber looks forward to passage of key legislative priorities

THE British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines reiterates its support toward the key legislative priorities of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s administration, citing its significance in further boosting the United Kingdom (UK)-Philippines trade relations and overall foreign investments.

The Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council, chaired by President Marcos and other policymakers and representatives, approves to prioritize the passage of 28 bills within the 19th congress or until June 2025.

British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines Executive Director and trustee Chris Nelson reiterates support for the passage of Marcos administration's key legislative priorities such as the Anti-Agricultural Economic Sabotage Act as well as the implementation of cybersecurity measures to establish a cyberresilient environment as part of both nations’ desire to continue to grow United Kingdom-Philippine investments.
